This is a tiny Iklwa, an African short spear often associated with the Zulu nation in 1:6 scale. It's forged by hand exactly the same way a full sized piece would be, heat treated and tempered, with a socketed blade that connects to a wooden haft
The blade is forged from high carbon silver tool steel, and has a broad leaf shape with a with a convex geometry and a forged finish. The blade is forged welded to a mild steel socket, into which runs the haft, which is made from Wenge wood. It is further reinforced with strips of hide.
The blade is not sharp, making it suitable for action figure use but should be handled with care
