This is a tiny fantasy short sword in 1:6 scale, inspired by a Greek athame. It's forged by hand exactly the same way a full sized piece would be, heat treated and tempered, with a tang that runs through the handle, and is peened at the end of the pommel.
The blade is forged from high carbon silver tool steel, and has a leaf shaped blade with hollow ground geometry, with a darkened finish. The guard and pommel are made of brass with an antique finish.
The handle is spalted tamarind wood, with a polished, oiled finish.
The blade is not sharp, but is suitable for letter opening and should be handled with care
