Here is a miniature Viking style Seax knife in 1/6th Scale. A helpful tool and emergency sidearm for a tiny raider or adventurer!
The knife is just over 2 1/2 inches in length with an single edged blade suitable for letter opening. The blade is hand forged high carbon steel with a forge scale finish on the spine. The handle is bog oak and tegu nut (aka vegan ivory) with a steel bolster and butt cap.
The scabbard is a laminate of linen, wood and leather, with a brass rim and rings.
It is recommended not to store the blades with the scabbard for long periods as this can encourage rust.
