This is a tiny fantasy sword in 1:6 scale. It's forged by hand exactly the same way a full sized piece would be, heat treated and tempered, with a tang that runs through the handle, and into the pommel.
The blade is hand forged from layered Damascus steel with a classic leaf shape, and has a central fuller, with hollow ground bevels. The central “flat” and ricasso of the blade have a textured surface to contrast with the etched steel.
The fittings are cast from bronze and include a crossguard which is engraved and set with two 2mm emeralds (ethically lab grown), a spacer and a pommel which holds a natural uncut quartz crystal. The handle is black walnut wood, as is the scabbard, which also has bronze fittings.
The blade is edged but not razor sharp, and is suitable for prop use but should be handled with care.
