A Greek Hoplite long spear, measuring approx 14 inches. The head has a high carbon steel blade, forge welded to a mild steel socket, and a two-piece ash wood shaft which joins together- the join is covered with leather wrap but should be handled with care as it is naturally the weakest point of the shaft!
