This is a tiny Zweihander in 1:6 scale, which also includes a hand made display stand.
It's forged by hand exactly the same way a full sized piece would be, heat treated and tempered, with a tang that runs through the handle, and is peened at the end of the pommel.
The blade is forged from high carbon spring steel, and has a n undulating Flamberge blade. It has a scent stopper style pommel , and an elaborate crossguard made from mild steel. There is also a leather wrapped ricasso beneath the guard, with a set of parrying lugs that protrude from the blade itself
The handle has an oak core, which is wrapped in thinly cut full-grain leather.
The stand consists of a heavy African blackwood base with a forged steel support that slots in and props up the sword by its guard rings.
The blade is not razor sharp, but is suitable for opening letters and should be handled with care.
