This is a tiny medieval battle axes in 1:6 scale. It consists of distinct components; the oaken haft, an axe-head with a spike on the reverse, a top spike with integral steel langettes, a lug and a stirrup, to secure it all together, with rivets, and a langette on the butt, forming a lanyard loop.
The haft is made from oiled oak, while the head, top spike and langettes are forged from high carbon spring steel. The rivets are made from mild steel. The axe head a slight edge, but is not razor sharp and would be a bit unwieldy as a letter opener, however the top spike is pointy!
