This is a miniature single handed fantasy sabre, inspired by eastern designs such as the Chinese Dao and Burmese Dha, as well as darken elvish fantasy influences. The blade is forged from layered Damascus steel which has been etched, and has a bronze hilt.
The handle is made of polished ebony wood, with copper pins.
The blade has an edge but is not razor sharp, but is suitable for opening letters.
