1/6 Scale Fantasy Miniature Sword “Seymour”
This is a tiny fantasy sword in 1:6 scale. It's forged by hand exactly the same way a full sized piece would be, heat treated and tempered, with a tang that runs through the handle, and is peened at the end of the pommel.
The blade is forged from high carbon silver tool steel with a weathered, battleworn finish, and has a tapered blade with a fuller. The guard and pommel are made from blackened mild steel, with an inset red garnet stone.
The handle has a walnut wood core, which is wrapped in thinly cut lizard skin (sourced from reclaimed antique stock) with a deep red finish. There are two bronze spacers either end of the handle.
The blade is blunt, suitable for prop use, although it has a pointy tip. There are various intentional nicks and scratches on the blade, and as such it should be handled with care.
Materials:
High Carbon Steel, Mild steel, Bronze, walnut Wood, reptile Leather, garnet
The lizard skin is reclaimed from vintage supplies from an old shoemakers stock
Dimensions:
190mm / 7 1/3 inches

It is a unique handmade piece, and should be handled with care. To protect it from rust, it has been coated in renaissance wax, but it is recommended to clean and oil the blade should it be handled, as finger prints may rub through and cause corrosion.
