This miniature Finnish graduation sword has a steel blade, brass fittings, and an ebony wood handle, with inlaid spiral brass wire. As an ornamental piece, it is blunt. The blade was forged by hand, heat treated and tempered for durability, and the tang is peened to the end of the pommel.
