This is a tiny Roman Spatha sword in 1:6 scale. It's inspired by the Feltwell Sword and is forged by hand exactly the same way a full sized piece would be, heat treated and tempered, with a tang that runs through the handle.
The blade is forged from high carbon silver tool steel, and has a tapered a double fullered blade. The handle is made of solid oak segments, interspersed with discs of brass. This is custom piece and as such the handle is slightly longer than a typical historical example
The blade is blunt, but has a pointy tip and should still be handled with care.
