This is a tiny medieval longsword in 1:6 scale. It's forged by hand exactly the same way a full sized piece would be, heat treated and tempered, with a tang that runs through the handle, and is peened at the end of the pommel.
The blade is forged from high carbon silver tool steel, and has a tapered blade with a diamond cross section that has been hardened and tempered. The guard and the ring-pommel are made from mild steel, while the handle is made from walnut with a real leather wrap.
The blade is sharp enough to be used as a letter opener, so should be handled with care
